Republican attorney general candidate Doug Wardlows record of opposing some gay rights dates back years.
For Ryan Durant, a former high school classmate, Wardlows views arent just a question of policy. Theyre personal.
Durant remembers Wardlow as a high school bully who repeatedly harassed him for being gay and as the person who mocked him after he attempted suicide in the 10th grade. Both Durant and Wardlow attended Eagan High School and graduated in the class of 1997.

It's because the people who have voted for the likes of Bachmann, Lewis and Paulsen think a lawyer who has worked for the "right" of businesses to discriminate against LGBT people and has promised to fire all assistant AGs who are Democrats would be a better attorney general than the black guy.
