Once upon a time, I've heard, the state government would send fund to local municipalities, perhaps even school districts. (I have lived here only 20 years).
I think that governor PawPaw eliminated this.
Was it ever renewed? With all the surplus that we have?

Oh, and that Golden Valley's property tax levy is increasing 11.3% or 11.2%, yes, a one-year increase (not some biennium thing unfortunatly).
