Skating is now open on Lake Backyard...

Small amount of rain last night combined with above average temps left the 2 inches of sleet exposed. More snow coming maybe 3in. that’ll make it easier to walk out there.

So we could get out and “finish” clearing the ice off the driveway it’s take since the ice storm. Most piled up by the door.
But because of the ice buildup, water was pouring in from under the door. The door is at the bottom of a downslope drive.

We use the garage as our “first floor basement” where the workout equipment is used, a couple grow tents, washer and dryer, it’s attached to the house equipped with its own heater.

So as this boring post ends that necessitated the removal of the ice especially before we get the next 3 in.

Spring! Getting ready to start seeds for the garden.

The ice was so beautiful with teeny tiny emerging plants underneath.
