65th anniversary of April 3rd tornadoes



I was almost 1 when this tornado ripped the roof off our house as my folks and I were sheltering in our basement. It was one of only two F-5 tornadoes to ever hit Michigan. I don't remember it, obviously, but I wonder if it subconsciously triggered my life-long fascination with weather.
