MI-SD35: Saginaw County early voting opens April 25 for May 5 special election
Saginaw, Mich. (WNEM) As the May 5 special general election approaches, early voting and voter education are important, and absentee ballots may still be requested.
The Saginaw County Clerks Office is encouraging voters to return completed absentee ballots as soon as possible. Voters can drop off ballots at the clerks office or a ballot drop box to avoid postal delays. Voters also have the option to bring completed absentee ballots to their polling location or a designated early voting center.
Voters should check their polling location or early voting center for information about tabulation procedures. Reviewing an absentee ballot before approaching the tabulation machine can help voters avoid errors. Voters may drop off ballots before Election Day, but no results will be read until Election Day.
The Saginaw County Early Voting Center is located next to the Saginaw County Courthouse at 618 Cass Street. The center is open Saturday, April 25, through May 3, with hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. To find your polling location, check registration status and preview or track your absentee ballot, click Here.
