Superior Township treasurer (D) faces 1 challenger (D) in August primary election
WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI - Two Democrats will compete for the Superior Township treasurer seat in the Aug. 6 primary election.
Incumbent Lisa Lewis faces challenger Ramona Parker-Hayden, a 35-year resident and chief financial officer for Neutral Zone, an Ann Arbor teen center.
Lewis was appointed in 2022 after the retirement of the township’s longtime treasurer. She had been serving as deputy treasurer for roughly a year prior.
The winner of the primary will go unchallenged in the November general election.
