It looks like the Memorial Day weekend is going to be a rainy one for mid-Michigan

At least that's what it looks like for Genesee County.

No complaints from me. Between today and tomorrow I'll get the back lot mowed, the veg garden landscaping fabric pinned down and maybe get some plants in. We usually make the rounds of the cemeteries to take care of family graves but that can wait for another week.

I think I'll take one day, this weekend, to just shut down and try to decompress.

We got most everything in the ground just waiting for stuff to sprout. Butternut’s coming up, radishes up, spinach, tomatoes in the ground. That’s the outside stuff greenhouse is almost filled.

Now to cut the grass again, again, again…we’ve cut six times already, going for a record 7th cut before Memorial Day. Looks wet for some of next week too you know what that means…grass cutting again, again…..

Have fun today, weather going to be great.
