Avoid this garage in Melrose.

Took my car in for an Automatic Braking System malfunction, covered by the extended warranty I had purchased.
We were visiting relatives and 1500 miles from home.
Friends of our relatives recommended Tremont St. Garage.

In addition to the brake work, I was charged $160 (not covered by the warranty) for the 'diagnostics' required.
Bruce also called me with an $850 laundry list of preventive maintenance, etc. that the car 'needed'.
I declined.
The warranty covered $250 and I had to pay another $280.

When I got home I found the top/center brake light assembly hanging by the wires. The screws were missing.
The trim cap on the rear window wiper was missing and that stuck out like a sore thumb.
Bruce admitted that the brake light was their error and found the missing screws
He claimed no responsibility for the trim cap.

You can do better than this place.
I won't be back.
