Breaking: Prince George's County Aisha Braveboy has announced indictment of county police officer Darryl Wormuth on two counts of assault, and one of misconduct, for allegedly grabbing a 17-year-old male by the neck while he was in handcuffs, in Oct 2020.
Interim police chief Hector Velez calls this "a troubling situation, which isn't condoned." on day of alleged assault, several officers reported it to supervisors, and within days the case was in the prosecutor's office. Velez says he's proud of his officers for reporting it.
