So excited that Montgomery County will at last be home to a COVID-19 mass vaccination site. As we highlighted in our recent letter to Governor Hogan, opening a mass vax site in MoCo is a public health imperative for our people.
We are hopeful the new site, which will be housed at Montgomery College's campus in Germantown and operate as a partnership among the college, the State, the County, and Holy Cross Hospital, will be operational within a few weeks and equipped to ad administer 3,000 vaccines per day.
Our coalition of federal state and local partners pushed for months to make this happen so it’s welcome news for our constituents. We’ll continue working to have the site flourish in Montgomery County and save the lives and livelihoods of our people.
