1. Saw him in a small club in Atlanta in 1980s I think. Good show, loved his big ole Guild acoustic.

Joan Baez gave him a really good guitar one time in the early sixties. He was called the Mayor of McDougal Street.

Joyce and I saw him at an evening of stories and song.. That was a couple of months before he died.

It was mostly stories and I enjoyed those more than the singing.
