Related: About this forumhere's another example of asleep at the switch
I often check out the right wing blogs to catch a drift of what is on their minds!(no neg. comments just think them)
the topic their retiring sen. and her vote for Obama care. She did not cast the deciding vote = 14-9 ! hardly the deciding vote!
here is one comment from a very cynical person who is running for office!
So why then did Obama personally thank Sen. Snowe is his Rose Garden speech about Obamacare? Why was she singled out?. Here is video of that speech (
I wonder how many officals of the democratic party of Maine knew this, and passed it on to the rest of the party-dam few I'll bet!

(3,880 posts)1. think this over carefully as it can effect your family at any time!
Why I want national health care for my family.
At any given time for no reason of the person involved he or she may find her self unemployed, have a dramatic change in her health care cost due to an employer dropping or charging more for the plan!(this may not be the employers fault but chit happens)
you have a family of 4 with 2 minor children and your company folds or moves overseas or to another state! what do you do? you become a hostage to your future employer because of health care! you either have to take a job with no Benny's to survive, take a job with some benny's and lower income(starting over).
what happens often is you lose everything , you can't afford to hesitate you have to eat,you have a job no benny's an you can't afford health care.(thousand in Maine are in this boat!) they are slaves to the job market!
Of course big business doesn't want single payer health care! private health care cost twice as much ! we need to feed the greedy!
the rest of the world figures it is a right of life to have national health care! here it is a license to steal to have private health care!

We need to get control of our own country back. Electing Right of Center politicians with (D)'s by their name isn't helping to right the wrongs in this country. Only slowing the slid to he bottom.
