No snow or ice

Just freakin cold and really windy.

Ugh

50 mph wind gusts and 35 below zero windchill.
It was cold.
We had snow and ice too.
Looked like Antartica outside my window.

I just got my heating bill for that period of time.
Almost double my normal heating bill.
Yikes.

Got the gear and the skills.

And trying to get back my couch blanket from my little dog.

The wind is ferocious. So glad I can stay inside. And that the power came back on this morning!

Sun is shifting and the temperature’s going down. Two degrees on the coast. That’ll change.

Had to go to the store....

It's cold and windy outside here too, but "here" is northern Virginia. I listen to WBZ overnight, and the cold you're experiencing goes way past anything we're getting. I'm out of beer, but even I might wait until it warms back up before I head to the store.

Ration your supplies so that they last.

Added: WBZ comes in like a flamethrower here. There are closer 50kw stations, like KYW in Philadelphia, that don't come in with that strength.

leg warmers yesterday (Boston) and could not find any. I ordered some online but obviously not in time for this weekend!
