Early voting begins in Metcalfe County primary election

EDMONTON, Ky. (WBKO) - Early voting began Thursday in Metcalfe County’s primary election, giving voters a chance to cast their ballots before Election Day at the County Government Office at 201 North Main Street in Edmonton.

Early voting continues Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“6 p.m. on election night, they get in line if we have a line and make sure that all those people that are there at that time are able to vote,” Metcalfe County Clerk, Shannon Fields, said.

On Election Day, Tuesday, May 19, all 12 polling locations across the county will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fields said, those precincts have not changed and voters will go to the location in their area.
