It will be hard to cut it down.
One big question is who can win? It is so hard to beat incumbency.
- Plus I don't think most Iowans have any idea how badly they have been screwed over - not only by the last legislature but by Branstad/Reynolds.

I'm hoping that the horror of Trump's reign will depress the vote on the right.
AND invigorate the voters on the left. We certainly have a lot more involvement here on the local level.

(63,324 posts)3. I am also hopeful that Iowa issues such as the Medicaid disaster,
the busted budget, schools, the environment, labor and many others and without their shining king (Branny) to ignore issues and still get praise from the press maybe in 2018 we can have an election based on issues for a change.
They are totally bankrupt on issues and are heading us into Kansas territory.
