http://video.foxnews.com/v/2071415356001/why-is-hawaii-so-liberal/

Apparently it's because our Asians are confused by white liberals, we all smoke too much pakalolo, and we like to have indecent sex all the time. Now you know

As a practicing, and very in the broom closet, Wiccan I have my own theory about why Hawaii is "so liberal". Because in Hawaii there is a very thin veneer of Christianity there. The religion here was mostly pagan up until the 1800's when the Christian missionaries came over to convert the natives.

and also I think that maybe the whites guys didn't kill off as many of the "native peoples of Hawaii" like they did the native Americans.

"we like to have indecent sex all the time." LOL maybe that's why too. Hawaiians are cool people who know how to have fun.

I, unfortunately live in a backward hillbilly red state so I envy those lucky enough to live in paradise.

What i am more interested in is why does Bill O'Rielly feel the need to investigate HI for being liberal. Talk about a real Fascist,

Welcome to DU Salander60 from this christian. You may find these rooms that I have linked below to be interesting. We are happy to have you aboard.

He tells the story better than anyone, in this video of his honoring at the state capitol upon his return home. Listen from 29:00 for his mana'o.

The kindness that was and partly remains the aloha spirit is a legacy from generations past who would welcome and feed any passing stranger; even if we only had water, we would give them that.

Senator Akaka brought that aloha to the US Senate for most of my lifetime.

His story tells it all, I think.
