(17,044 posts)things are coming together so they can consolidate their power. They might have decided not to go forward with elections. Too much potential for fraud, you know. The Democrats are using the election to attempt a coup. Trump must put down the rebellion and shut down elections in order to stop the uprising and safeguard our freedoms. He's about to make us great again!

(17,044 posts)That's kind of sloppy of me. What I mean by that is a number of actions that could bring the results of the election into dispute and make them null and void.
Trumpers could disrupt vote counting in a lot of states and make election results impossible to validate in those states. There are other actions that could be taken as well, such as intimidation at the polls, destruction of ballots, not allowing the Electoral College to meet or getting the Supreme Court to invalidate their vote.
All of these actions would start a constitutional crisis and possibly a civil war, but I think Trump is willing to go there. I believe his goal all along has been to split the country up.

pro Trump car parades.
Funny that Trump is broke.
for him to put "whatever it takes" of his own money to finance his campaign... oh wait, maybe he already did. I guess $50 and some pocket lint doesn't go as far as it used to...

Still, the two of them present very timely information and frequently have great guests to interview.
and I don't believe it's because they're out of money

(58,022 posts)They had a billion on hand but after Pascale splurged on cars, a yacht and condos, and trump's fundraisers always held at trump-owned resorts which also billed the campaign (money straight into trump pockets), they're short of funds.
Whoever said trump was good at managing money?

(180 posts)I believe Trump found out RBG was near death just before the GOP convention. It was around this time that Trump cut back on ads. With the the chance of another conservative on the bench, I believe Trumps focus has shifted from winning, to changing law regarding pardons for state charges. This is why there's a rush to fill RBG's seat. Again, I am no expert. Just my opinion.
