Anyone going to March for our lives?

Washington Monument at noon today. It's raining so it might be wet and wild. When I went in 2018 it wasn't a march. It was people giving speeches and sharing their stories.

My wife and I will be heading in town at 1100. My daughter is a teacher and my wife who is not a very political person ( always votes democratic) but not very active, is all in on this. She is the one pushing me in to this one.

a carload of peoole to DC and over million showed up in three groups, bu no one thought to rent portapottes except those six off on the end owned by some smug Republlcan whose asses we should have kicked.

Over a million people showed up, but it was a Saturday so no one noticed, or gave a shit.

No one noticed.

There are better ways of getting things done, but those usually involve actual work. Demonstrations are more like party time.

But marching hasn’t changed anything. Millions marched against invading Iraq. How did that turn out?

All those women marching after TFG got elected, and what happened to Roe? To women’s issues in general? Not looking too good there, huh?

Those Occupy knuckleheads sat in their parks and accomplished…what? Zero. You know what scared the shit out of Wall Street? Rage Against the Machine actually infiltrating the Stock Exchange. The only thing that would terrify them more is a mass work stoppage. Guess what? That’s what it will take to start returning some power back to the peons (it’s what they really think of us). Marching or camping in a park doesn’t hit them where it hurts them or scared them. Going after their money does.

Get the hint. Start going at what scares them.
