A little GOAT assist during the fires (FB link, sorry)

This little girl (maybe pregnant?) grazed along side the fire fighters... She's local and was reunited with her people. I think she's gonna turn into a little star around here.

The loss of acreage and houses always gets the attention (if, we are fortunate not to have human deaths), but the loss of wildlife or livestock unable to be evacuated is what haunts me.
