BVSD classes canceled Thursday for statewide Day of Action
School has been canceled Thursday for Boulder Valley School District students due to the staff shortages expected as teachers participate in the No More Education Cuts statewide Day of Action.
According to a BVSD release, more than 600 staff absences have been reported districtwide for Thursday, which will mark the No More Education Cuts statewide Day of Action. According to the Colorado Education Association, the group leading the protest, the legislature is considering cutting almost $150 million to education funding, prompting school staff statewide to protest at the state capitol on Thursday.
