Ballots for municipal elections in mailboxes Monday

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Municipal elections for the City of Grand Junction are coming up fast, with ballots being mailed out Monday, March 17.

“This year we have four seats that are going to be on the ballot,” said City Clerk Selestina Sandoval. “Those are for districts A, D, E, and we have one at-large position.”

There are 48,607 active registered voters within city limits. Sandoval says check your eligibility on the city website.

“Unfortunately, there is not a clear-cut boundary. You can go to our website gjcity.org and go to our GIS map and type in your address and see if you are in city limits.”
