Evangelical Christians urged to fight 'ungodliness' at conference in Woodland Park

WOODLAND PARK — An urgency like never before is at hand for evangelical Christians, who must fight against what they believe is “ungodliness” pervading public policymaking relating to gay marriage, abortion, government-mandated COVID vaccines, transgenderism and critical race theory, speakers at this weekend's Truth & Liberty Conference told attendees.

“I believe we are at a tipping point, and God has promised he will heal our land,” said Andrew Wommack, president of Truth & Liberty Coalition and founder of Andrew Wommack Ministries and Charis Bible College.

“God wants us to be involved in the affairs of government,” said U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert, a Republican from the Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District and a keynote speaker.

“There are some things that are unjust that are taking place that God wants to make right,” she said. “He’s going to use his church, his children to infiltrate these people. … They just don’t know they are being deceived.”

God has to rely on evangelicals to get what God wants done. tsk, tsk.

Almost as if it isn't really about what God wants but what they want...like they are God.

God wants this, God wants that. Is it just coincidence that's exactly what they want?

I would assume that if God were to express his views down here he would have sent his Son to tell us how to live.
Oh wait, He did that.
And, we've seen how the centuries have turned the message of love that Jesus brought forth into one of fear, anger, hatred and violence.
It's evident that these people don't know God.
But, they're very good at fanning the fires of hatred as a means to gain money, power, and control.

They are the American Taliban.

How absurd is this? God invented sin, when he created man. So he could punish man for sinning. He impregnated a girl to get himself born, so that years later he could die to save man from sinning, which he invented in the first place.

there is no creator god. That would violate the law of dependent origination, which is that all phenominae arise from previous causes and conditions. So who or what created a creator god? Totally absurd.

Why isn't enough to just be a good person.
