Bob Greenlee, ex-Boulder mayor, expected to plead not guilty in fatal crash
Former Boulder Mayor Bob Greenlee (R) is expected to plead not guilty and be set for trial on nine counts stemming from his role in a fatal car crash in southern Colorado last year.
Greenlee, 75, is charged with vehicular homicide, criminally negligent homicide, vehicular assault, two counts of careless driving causing injury, reckless driving, speeding, reckless endangerment and improper passing on the left in the death of Pat Lucero.
Greenlee's next arraignment hearing is Monday. At Greenlee's last hearing in July, Judge Jon Kolomitz asked Greenlee's attorneys to indicate before the hearing how Greenlee planned to plead so Kolomitz could determine whether Greenlee would need to appear in Costilla County in person or if he would be allowed to phone in to the hearing, as he has for past proceedings.

Greenlee was driving 87 mph in a 65 mph zone at the time of the crash, according to an accident report. The report cited Greenlee's aggressive driving and improper passing on the left as contributing factors to the crash.
