We had several idiots competing with each other in our neighborhood to see who could set off the most, and loudest, fireworks last night. Fortunately a line of thunderstorms rolled through about 11:30 and put a stop to that.

But New Year’s Eve, some will have some fun with them. I just hope they stop by 12:30. You’d think 30 minutes would be enough time for the fun. But some years they go on for hours.
