(3,860 posts)I listen to too many true crime podcasts. I don't understand the dismemberment angle. I mean? I really don't understand murdering, but this additional horror o his children's mother and grandparents... it's scary to think people like this live among us.

(11,538 posts)Well, at least the psychopaths who have blood lust. There are psychopaths and sociopaths that just want to destroy society like Trump, Koch bros and Harlan Crow. Both sociopaths and psychopaths are antisocial personality disorders.
Psychopaths with blood lust are really deadly. It's not surprising that it's frequently seen among the filthy-rich because it takes a lack of a conscience to acquire huge amounts of wealth. And researchers think genetics plays a big role in the development of antisocial personality disorders.
I hope his victims didn't suffer. I got to wonder who else he has murdered throughout his lifetime.

(22,751 posts)This witness saw this and reported it before the torso was found in the dumpster. So the police knew exactly where to look. How gruesome. If the witness hadn't seen this it may have gone unsolved for some time. The wife's parents are still missing. I live a few miles from here. This has been a huge local story of course.
The bags were gone by the time police arrived, though investigators returned after the torso was found in the dumpster and discovered blood and other evidence consistent with a killing and dismemberment inside the home, police told the Times.
