(16,655 posts)The is one where a lady was doing 130 and the ASP did the pit and she flew out of the windshield. Survived. She was not wearing a seat belt.

(375 posts)My husband and I watched the state police chases you posted last night too. Problem is, I drive I-30, I-430, I-40, and a lot of the other streets in the videos all the time going to and through Little Rock, and now I'm almost afraid to leave my little south Arkansas town and get on the interstate!

(16,655 posts)I am in awe of the skills of the ASP on the freeway. Almost like they are ex Nascar drivers that enjoy a nice leisurely 130MPH drive.

(375 posts)The next time I see a driver being stupid on the interstate (which will undoubtedly be the next time I am on the interstate), I will definitely be watchful for the ASP on his/her tail. I've certainly seen a lot that needed the police after them. I'm from Arkadelphia, and I don't think Troop K gets nearly the exciting chases as Troop A. I found a couple of videos from the NWA State Police Troop last night. (You have gotten me addicted to these.) Chases on I-49 are pretty exciting too. They don't seem to be as fast or as frequent as Little Rock though. I drive I-49 a lot too. I sure wouldn't want to be anywhere near a high speed chase on those hills and curves!
