Sinkingfeeling,
This is important. For the last 5 years, Arkansas has put it's faith in Tom Cotton's leadership, and in return, Senator Cotton has sold us out to special interests, lobbyists, political action committees and beltway insiders. It's been hard to watch as he has allowed this trade war to decimate our family farms, voted to strip healthcare away from Arkansans with pre-existing conditions, supported giving tax breaks to the wealthiest in America while leaving the rest of us to foot the bill and while doing so, not even bothering to show up in Arkansas. That's not why we sent Tom Cotton to Washington.
We deserve better than the leadership we are getting. That's why I decided to run for the U.S. Senate. Our state and it's people deserve a Senator that puts Arkansas first. And that's what I plan to do.
We have an opportunity to transform our state and country and get back on the right track. It's time to focus on making healthcare affordable for every Arkansan and American; It's time to make investments in our infrastructure so that our companies and their workers can flourish; It's time to ensure that higher education isn't a path to bankruptcy; It's time to fight for a fair tax system that values hard work just as much as it rewards wealth; It's time we look at what have in common and not what divides us.
I cannot do this alone though. Senator Cotton has the special interests and big money donors to fund his campaign. I need you and other grassroots donors to step up and fight alongside of me for our future.
