The parts of the town located north of highway 89A have been placed in "Ready" status. That just means that people should pack a bug-out bag and keep an eye on the news.
A couple of nights ago there was a deep red glow in the northwest. Now that was disconcerting. Recently, though, we're just experiencing smoke, no fiery glows.
