I still have cable (I know, I know) but my old TVs aren't streaming-compatible

and I have a lot more big-ticket items that need to be replaced in my house before I get a new TV. Anyway, U-VERSE and DIRECTV are in a contract dispute with ABC so I won't get ABC and one local channel until the dispute is resolved. It's no big deal since I don't watch anything on ABC except Jimmy Kimmel when he has someone on I want to see or Who Wants to be a Millionaire when it's on. The local channel only plays Maury, Steve Wilkos and court shows all day so there's nothing to miss there.

your older TVs. You could get countless channels for free, most of the popular shows are on YouTube replays, and it would be much cheaper than traditional cable or satellite costs. For your local channels could you possibly get them OTA?

Cut the cord....

But you do know who to call when the internet and TV doesn't work. I have gonetspeed and directtv and when there's a problem I'm not sure who is to blame. I did buy a firestick for my TV upstairs and it makes my old TV able to stream my internet apps.
