I just keep returning to it every few years, but I've watched them so many times now I don't see anything that I don't remember.

So many red herrings. But we watch it as part of our Saturday TV viewing. Once followed by Inspector Morse, and presently by Poirot.

that I lose track of who actually did it , in my memory!

and I prefer the original detectives and story lines. My husband often falls asleep when we watch the latest ones.

I have watched every single one some of them 2 or 3 times. I really like the ones with Neil Dudgeon!

But it does make you wonder how safe those quaint little English villages are; Midsomer seems to have a murder rate worse than Fallujah's, and the murders, usually committed with weapons nobody would even imagine, are almost always the result of some Byzantine machinations involving secret relationships, incest, nice ladies who poison crumpets, and mad vicars.

Jones is my favorite character.
