(43,280 posts)The first photo with the pink flower is a study in shape contrasts. Grass blades criss-crossing, almost oval blades (with a tip on them), and round buds.
The last one, with the bright yellow umbrella, is a color contrast.

(72,010 posts)... after my bladder surgery I was encouraged to sit in a chair as much as possible within a couple days after the "procedure". I was wired up, tubed up and carried a bag to collect urine.
I'm a determined individual and I decided that if I worked slowly, I'd just swing my body over the side of the bed, gather up the wires, tubes and bag, turn and sit. It didn't work and I got bound up turned half way, the call button out of my reach, stuck like a fly in a spider's web.
In just a few minutes a nurse walked in and untangled me and got me sat down.
"Boy am I glad to see you, how'd you know I was in deep?"
"I came in to find out why you were mooning the nurse's station!", she said.
I am so glad you've pulled your 'escape' off and are doing well. And thanks for the photos, especially the first one.
CaliforniaPeggy
(156,712 posts)I didn't have any adventures quite like yours. However, I'd lost my call button several times, until I figured out how to keep it in reach! Then I was OK.
Glad you enjoyed the photos!

(985 posts)It is great to hear you are back! At least you had a bit of nature and some blue sky to look at while you were at rehab. The flower is so vibrant and looking up between the two buildings gives quite an architecturally satisfying view of that beautiful blue!
CaliforniaPeggy
(156,712 posts)It was wonderful to see that bit of nature! The sun, the breeze, the colors--all helped me.
I was thrilled with my photo of the skyscrapers! Always wanted to get a shot like that--and now I have.

you might've lost some sleep or some weight in that hospital / rehab
but you certainly didn't lose your magic touch with that camera
CaliforniaPeggy
(156,712 posts)Actually, my adjustment back to whatever "normal" life is, has been pretty overwhelming at times. It's weird!
However, my photographer's eye is as steady and reliable as ever. Thank goodness! And all of those were taken with my iPhone 11!
