...or, more commonly known as a white faced capuchin. yes, I know I said I'll work on getting some new subjects but this one came in very close and was just begging to have his photo taken.

This new-world monkey does not resemble a chimp, and it's much smaller than a chimp. "White faced capuchin" is a much better name for this animal.

for some reason that one, and some other "common" names I've made up really trigger some people in those groups.

the reason I referred to capuchins as chimps is that they jump up and down and show their teeth like chimps like to do. they also make some vocalizations that sound like chimps. but, yes, other than that, they are nothing like chimps.
