(4,542 posts)Did you buy one of those pastries and enjoy them for us?
CaliforniaPeggy
(156,296 posts)Alas, I rarely buy those pastries. Gotta watch my "girlish" figure!

(6,469 posts)I love all the smells, textures, and colors. And, besides, it's currently overcast and cold in SW Florida, so I can dream of a warm day at the farmer's market.

(156,296 posts)I like taking up close photos so that you can imagine you're here! Occasionally, I goof and there's too much blur. Oh well.
Happy Dreaming!

(40,073 posts)Thank you for a breath of sun and warmth. It was 18 degrees here and gray when I went out the door at 10 am this morning

(156,296 posts)It's a real challenge to live where it gets so cold. I don't think I could do it these days!

Enjoy your hot day! We are patiently waiting for the snowstorm that's headed out way!

(156,296 posts)I try to make the photos as enticing as I can! Looks like I succeeded.
Good luck with the snowstorm.

(2,307 posts)What part of California are you in? It's currently 34° in the metro Detroit area and it's been snowing about an inch every other day. Today's the first day it hasn't melted by the end of the day.
It's only the 9th of December and I'm already sick of winter and it isn't even officially winter yet! Oh well, I'll just have to look forward to your Farmer's Market photos until spring!

(156,296 posts)I'm in Southern California, near LAX. We are blessed with our weather! I love the sunlight. I lived in Evanston Ill until I was around 7 or 8 years old, and I remember the snowy winters. I don't think I could do it now.
I will do my best to keep you supplied with beautiful photos over into next year, and beyond!
