I have medical news to tell all of you . . .
My oncology doctor wanted me to get an MRI of my brain, to make sure that there are no cancer cells in there.
The MRI happened yesterday and today I got the results.
The report said:
IMPRESSION
No evidence of infarct, hemorrhage, hydrocephalus, mass effect, or abnormal enhancement.
I couldn't figure this out, so I texted one of my doctors and he told me that I'm fine. There is no cancer in my brain.
Big sigh of relief!
PS--I'm going to give each person a rec as soon as I've read what they said. Remember that I value all of you and what you say.

Why do we so often get medical reports (from a “Patient Portal” or whatever) before we can talk to our doctor?
Sometimes it causes needless worry. So glad to hear your news was good!

I had one recently to rule out tumor due to hearing problems. Also negative. Don’t know if I was happiest about the absence of a tumor or the verification that I actually have a brain.

You are one of my original favorites here! I have had several of my close friends and relatives deal with cancer this year that I've had enough!

That also indicates that your head hasn't exploded yet with all that has happened the past 10 months!! 
1) no burst blood vessels
2) no areas of burst capillaries
3) No water on the brain
4) No signs of a tumor
5) Abnormal accumulation of contrast material in brain tissues, typically
indicating a breakdown of the blood-brain barrier, which can occur due to
various pathological processes.

The report came back with the conclusion, "unremarkable brain." It was the most welcome insult I ever got.
So happy for you, California Peggy. I know what a relief that is.
