Even I avoid rock outcroppings like this! Especially in this particular "saddle."

This is a notorious lurking place for one of our resident mountain lions. It was spotted in this area several times, by different people, during the weekend that I shot this photo (Labor Day 2024). BTW: I took this photo from the comfort and safety of my truck.
