Here in SoCal, down at the beach, we just don't have anything with this much color! There are a few liquidamber trees, but not as many as the colorful trees in your neighborhood.

Ah well, you can't have everything!

You’re right, you can’t have everything! I would love to live near an ocean beach, though! I’ll bet you see some beautiful sunsets.

I think we’re beyond peak leaf season now. There are more on the ground than on the trees.

Sophie just loves being outside, no matter what the weather!

The fern shadows and Walking Path are my favorites.

I think we’ve got more leaves on the ground than on the trees right now. Some of the oaks are still showy. But it won’t be long before the trees will be bare. It didn’t seem to last very long this year, or maybe it’s just me.

All the photos are beautiful, but my faves are the walking path and the fern images.
