On one of our moves, my husband and I once had 50 boxes of books! I am a re-reader of books I've really loved, and have a hard time parting with them. I'd love to have a room with a really high ceiling, and book cases so tall that I'd need to have one of those cool rolling ladders.

My husband and I are the same about books. We have so many, and we keep buying more.

I especially love the various silver tones of your hair. And that particular cut enhances the perfect shape of your head.

I am so happy that you made me aware of books I didn’t know about. As an author and educator, I have a large collection of physical grammar school text books at many grade levels, some dating back to the 1700’s. Some of my collection includes an array of Braille books (which I teach). So I’m fascinated to discover your “book shelves” as well. Nice serendipity that you chose to stand in front of that display for your photo and piqued my curiosity.

I’ve begun reading “A Distant Mirror,” and find it compelling right from the start.

With the threats to our own country during the last nine years, Tuchman’s words ‘plague, war, taxes, brigandage, bad government, insurrection, and schism in the church’ in her Foreword sound chillingly familiar.

My hairdresser has been cutting my hair for many years, and she knows how to make it look good. I love my wavy hair!

And I sure do feel lighter. I love the way my hair curls, too.

The long hair was lovely, but the length meant it was always in my face, plus the weight of it kept it from showing the wave!
