Today, my husband and I celebrated his 85th Birthday!

We had a nice day and the dinner had his favorite foods!
These are among his favored foods and he enjoyed everything a lot!
The birthday cake was to die for!
It was a good day for him, and me as well.
We both have always had young faces! Now, we really appreciate them! 
We are working on the more happy and healthy part!

As I mentioned to usonian, we've always had young faces! We looked like teenagers when we got married, and we were both in our 20's!
We would both like to see him have more birthdays!
You guys are an inspiration to me. I'm 74, my husband is 73, and we celebrated out 50th anniversary Memorial Day weekend. If we're still going as strong as you two are in our mid 80s, we will consider ourselves very fortunate!
All I can say: take care of your health! Mental and physical: those are key!

We're always amazed at how many decades we've live through. Time sure does fly!

I served him some of his favorite foods and we both enjoyed our dinners immensely. He tells me he could eat scallops every night!
