(152,472 posts)I had the identical reaction to yours when I spotted these beauties!
I've been waiting for our local growers to produce them, and today my waiting is over! We'll have them the rest of the summer and I couldn't be happier!

(7,371 posts)Delicious looking berries especially those big fat blue ones! I've been using a lot of dill lately too I love how delicate it is.

(152,472 posts)Their berries are especially good. I simply had to have some blueberries tonight with vanilla ice cream!
I should try fresh dill sometime! Do you have a favorite dish that you like it in?

I have so much fun taking these! Trying to get the best angle, the best composition and all that, besides staying out of the way of the paying customers!
It's a blast for me, and I'm so happy that you enjoy them this much.

I couldn't resist the blueberries with some vanilla ice cream after dinner tonight. That combo is so good!

(120,683 posts)a sakad or dessert, but, ohhhhhhh, how tempting!!!
Our local markets are starting, but no real local produce yet, just jams and soaps and sauces and such.

(152,472 posts)I was quite happy with my photos today. The sky was stubbornly overcast nearly the whole day but the colors still showed up!
I hope your local markets will soon be overflowing with real produce very soon! The heirloom tomatoes finally showed up today and I was truly excited to see them.

(120,683 posts)The real local produce will not really start showing up for another month or so (our growing season is SHORT!!!), but should be good.

The dill makes me feel like Im in a forest of tall trees! I just love the smell of it. I love fresh dill on roasted salmon. And the heirloom tomatoes! I agree with Mousetoescamper, they are the stars of this array.
