We have very little to compare, mostly some farmers’ markets in the summer. The freshness of the fruit and produce means much better flavor.

And varried as to what you can find in the large ones.
In the US we don't have the open spaces for them the same way as they do with active public squares near city centers that are walkable.

I love European markets! Kinda wowed by the trimmed artichokes, so much sense but they are not sold that way here!
