a very important component to maintaining ecology and balance. Plus I really like them, (though I do carry a whistle and pepper spray to counter any pack that might be tracking me and my pup in the pre-dawn early mornings).

This girl was injured as a young pup and could only drag itself along the ground with its front paws. A while later I saw her up and moving about with difficulty and eventually she got mange and moved away from her clan. The winter set in and she wasn't doing well at all so I gave her medication for the mange and made sure she got enough to eat.
This is her now and she has returned her family.
