February Contest Info!

Last edited Sat Feb 3, 2024, 01:16 PM - Edit history (3)

As they say, watch this space!

I have volunteered to take over hosting the February contest. As soon as I get a theme from the winner of the January contest (Walleye) I'll post a timeline and then a Submissions thread will be opened.

So...Watch this space!

And you didn't have to watch for long!

On edit:

Walleye has given us a Valentine's theme, which is
“now that is love“. Valentine’s. Any photo depicting love.
As Host, I'm going to expand the topic to include love of any kind--not necessarily romantic--and not limited to humans. We anthropomorphize love all the time, so why not for this theme?

Here's the timeline: Submissions will open next Saturday, February 10th and remain open until February 17th, unless we have 30 entries prior to the 17th. Preliminaries will run from Feb 18-21 and Finals will run from February 21-24, subject to starting earlier if all the entry spots are filled prior to the 17th.

Love is in the air!

1. Just sent DU mail. My idea for the contest theme is "now that's love" in honor of Valentine's Day. Any photo

I think I may have a photo or two that would work.
