(14,775 posts)1. I use to love sailing but alas another hobby by the wayside. A trimaran was on the list but life got in the way
I had a few beach cat's and did some monohull racing.. Great fun.

slip fees and maintenance just got too expensive . I loved sailing, though; really miss it.

I'd sailed in the "Bear" before, but this was a 40+ mile trip each way...twist my arm

happy memories...we all went out to eat 4 hours sailing really builds up an appetite!
