(523 posts)appears to have been sharpened. Looks good, in any case. This capability seems to be spreading but has not reached Affinity Photo, which has evolved faster than my learning how to use it.

De-noising tends to make things sharper, if it is sophisticated. Unsophisticated de-noising tends to make smoother but less detailed.

(18,927 posts)The volume is so low on that video that it's barely audible on my tablet. (And no, the volume on my tablet isn't turned down. That was the first thing I checked.) The only words I could really catch were "Hillary" and "money shot."

(6,598 posts)it reminds me of film grain. Except for the blue speckles in it's forehead, it just looks like 800 speed film that's been pushed a stop or two.
