This was taken several years ago. I don't clearly remember just whose dog this was. Perhaps it was my daughter's.

Anyway, it's a sweet portrait.

nobody gets a ton of votes with a so-so photo just because it has a cute animal in it.

is my sweet Snowy. When we would go to the beach, she would walk with me every morning to shoot the sunrise/dawn. Leashes are required at this beach (Emerald Isle, NC) and she never pulled, no matter how many times I stopped for a shot or stayed in one place waiting for the waves to be just right, or the sun to come through the clouds, or for another early beach walker to get out of the shot, or whatever you know we're always waiting to be framed just so. She's been gone now since June 2020 and my morning beach walks haven't been the same.

that she was part Golden Retriever and part American Eskimo. I never had her tested, but I used to call her my little white wolf. I once heard a little boy tell his mom as we passed them on the sidewalk "that lady has a wolf!".

We have 18 entries so far, Some wonderful pictures, all winners in my book!
So far we have 9 cats, 8 dogs, and 1 horse. Maybe we'll see some livestock entered later on. I have some pictures of a week old donkey I thought about entering but they weren't any special photos, just a cute baby donkey!
Maybe I'll just post it anyways...

I know we say that every month, but these photos are all tugging at our hearts.

This month's entry is bittersweet for me beause our little Chica is now in her end days. We don't expect her to be with us much longer.

Would someone please check the size for me? We're on vacation and I'm working on my phone. Thanks!
