It will take on a different look when that crop matures.

I once saw a crop of mature wheat in a similar landscape in Kentucky. I will never forget it's unparalleled beauty.

Western Washington state does have an incredible expanse of photo-worthy scenery. As do many of the western and plains states that aren't as frequently memorialized. Because the incredible features are revealed when captured by long-distance shots, they aren't as easy to find as the closer-in ones.
