He wanted Italian food for his birthday dinner, so the whole family came to our neighborhood to eat! We had a blast, and as you'll see from the food porn photos, we ate very well!
Hope you enjoy the show!

(152,479 posts)We love our kids and grandkids!
I found myself looking around the table and pondering the fact that since we produced our daughter, all these people came to be! They are all amazing and wonderful young folks with bright futures. And we set this in motion!

(93,569 posts)I was having similar thoughts last time I was at a table with most of my current immediate relatives. Remaining sisters, most of their kids, children of passed siblings and all their spouses... now that I'm an elder, there is much to reflect upon.
Looking at the pictures of your nephew, he looks much younger than my mind's eye pictured 21 when I was that age. I look at my nephew who is now in his 40s and I still think he looks like he's 18. Funny how that works, I guess that's where wisdom of age comes from.

(711 posts)I have a granddaughter who looks like I did in my 20s. Throws me off, sometimes.
Oh, and Food Porn is the right term! How do you eat all the delicious food you show us and maintain that girlish figure?

(152,479 posts)The family resemblance does go on!
I am far from maintaining any sort of girlish figure! I think my face is thinner than it used to be but the Belly still rules!
However, thank you for your wonderful comments, my dear gg!
