Since I just became the proud owner of an Audi Q4 e-tron SUV a few weeks ago, I thought it would be fun to photograph some of the more modern details.

And that's what I did.

I'm sure it will do well.

Mine's a shot of the south end of the northbound Coast Starlight, Santa Barbara station.

and then took a ferry to Victoria, BC in August 2016, which is where I took the shot 'Harbour Traffic' entered in the contest. It was a marvelous train trip. My favorite shot taken from the moving train was from the club car early one morning.

I love all the colors. I love it has motion.

It also reminds me of Mr Lake’s and my song for this time in our life.

The photo is nostalgic for me as well. My SO at the time was driving and we were on our way to a national forest campground. I hadn't seen a Woody on the road in many years, probably since the '60s. The car's 'face' reminds me of the characters in the Cars animated movies, hence the title. Thanks, Lake!
