My one son 19 friend scored a Momose their version of a les Paul single cut.

$1500 used yet hand crafted one piece Hondurans mahogany body Brazilian rosewood fretboard nitro finish. If this guitar had the letter G on the headstock it could have come out of their custom shop and they easily could charge an arm and a leg.
Not trying to start argument with Gibson Lester owners I’m just floored by the quality and price.

So i looked online and I’m not sure if Bacchus and Momose are same company yet there is two companies Terada and Bacchus.

To explain I’m a Burny super grade lover yet I’ll only buy a super grade if it’s manufactured by Dyna Gaki because of some of same appointments i listed above on momose. To try explain further say Tokai or Greco or burny at one time we’re being made by several different manufacturers in Japan.

Just old guy ramble dyslexic bad punctuation included and who is sometimes amazed by the craftsmanship coming out Japan. And I’m very happy for this 20 year old to have such a fine guitar i truly am , I remember this young man years ago him and my son grew up together. We all sat around jamming together.

I even sold him on a buy here pay here years ago an Aria leopard Japan a les single cut as he loved it. $20 a month from his paper route yet that summer he earned it free and clear because he helped us paint three rooms.

They are built with three design flaws; the heatstock angle, the 'tune-a-matic bridge, and the set neck.
Buy yourself a Telecaster, you'll be a lot happier!
I have a real Les Paul, and I have a Chinese-made I bought for $82, guess which one I like best?

I still play around with both of them, but when the arthritis in my hands acts up, I grab the Epiphone. Sold my J-45 years ago and bought a $100 used Yamaha. Second best $100 I ever spent.

A week ago I picked up a Hamer Slammer for $45. Needs a few things but for that price I can make a couple of bucks.

I've been playing their basses for about ten years now. Just brilliant build quality and sound, and for half of what you'd pay for a mid-to-high end Fender. Late 80s through mid-90s Made In Japan Fenders are coveted for a reason - they were built by Fujigen.

Congratulations on the Momose! My secret fantasy is a Sugi Nightwing, but still waiting to stumble across a carry-on bag full of cash.

It’s called well on headstock it said Momose custom craft it ranks up there with my Tokai les reborn.

It is beautiful guitar Gac I’m happy for the young man and it was pleasure to play. I searched them afterwards on reverb and they have one hanging for like $2000 but I don’t need it.

My collecting days are done.

I bought a Guild 12 String this year, but that was to replace the fiasco Martin I had to throw away. (Defective, broken truss rod, never touched for 15 years. They refused to honor their "lifetime" warranty.)
I had to have one I could open tune for slide. But, action is lower so I had to buy a lighter weight slide to avoid fret rattle.
But, I didn't add to the collection. Just replaced.
