At home, I doubt I've ever had the master volume more than 2 & 1/2.
On stage, maybe a four. At a six, the soundman would have shot me!
Well, he didn't own a gun, but a blow gun I wouldn't put passed him!

I've got a Marshall & a Boogie.
While I often have the gain up full, I never turn either up to 11. Would frighten the pets!
My wife would be none too pleased either.
